"The 2nd XV have blown a bit hot and cold this season. We started with a good win against Hills, then a tough day at the office against GHA, the last 2 games away to Stirling and at home to Marr have left us unusually bereft; despite losing both games we were in control of both possession and territory for extended periods of time, often finding ourselves in the red zone but just lacking that final pass, or piece of collective accuracy to convert into points.

Despite this, the mood within the squad is high; with several new players to Cartha and some talented young players moving up from the youth teams, we feel we're starting to click and it won't be long before we make a sharp incline up the league table."
