Matthew started coaching at 17, at Christchurch Grammar School in Perth, Australia. He has since continued to coach at Stirling University where he has enjoyed success in 7s and XV's.
Most recently, Matthew was lucky to finish a 4 week coaching internship under head coach David Wessels and his staff with Melbourne Rebels, Super Rugby Club - where he was involved in shadowing and preparations for Rebels' games vs Crusaders, Brumbies & Sunwolves. Melbourne Rebels won 2 out of 3 of those games.

Interesting fact about Matthew - He has played in the longest standing Rugby fixture in the world.
