Northern Class

Thanks again to all who played today. Great effort by all and the scoreline of 47-14 didn’t reflect the amount of play we had. Try scorers myself ( 2 yard run in) and Ross Beattie with a fine follow up after a kick and chase. Both converted by Moe. We scrummaged them off the ball and all we needed was a bit of extra support and we d have scored more. Just as importantly it cannot be underestimated the positive image the Sharks give to the club. We are welcomed back by lots of teams and this includes the Edinburgh Northern lads. Rachid is still there enjoying their hospitality? Man of the match Andy Moran for doing two dummy passes and his fine efforts all around. Closely followed by Robert Kerr who as always gave it his all and got his first Sharks game as Vice Captain.

Thanks to Craig and Robert coming across to bolster the squad after the 2s game was called off. Thanks also to Greg, Laurence and Martin who volunteered to drive through to help with transport. Next game will be at Braidhom on 25/1. The week before there is the ex players lunch before the Boroughmuir game. I will post details and see if we can get enough numbers to get a Sharks table.
