Cartha Queen’s Park Rugby Club is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, committed and hardworking Physiotherapists to join our team for the 2019/2020 rugby season on a part time basis.
The role would involve pitch-side cover at rugby games and covering mid-week evening clinics. This would be a great opportunity to develop assessment and rehabilitation skills of MSK injuries, support your clinical reasoning skills, develop your taping and strapping techniques, enhance your manual therapy and develop your communication and first aid skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualities
 Applicants must be qualified Physiotherapists and hold an HCPC registration
 Full indemnity insurance
 Have or be willing to complete first aid qualification and World Rugby Immediate
Care in Sport (Level 2)
 Strong communication skills
 Experience working in sporting environment and manual therapy is desirable but
not essential
Hours of Work
Some weekend Games and 1 evening clinic per week
A set fee is paid for home and away matches and by the hour for clinics. Equipment is provided by Cartha Queen’s Park RFC.
