For the third occasion the Glasgow based Aecom company are holding their annual “fresh air” family day on our our grounds a warm Cartha welcome to our regular and cheerful visitors. Looks like dry weather tomorrow enjoy your day at Dumbreck
An evening function with app 40 to 50 adult guests from about 7:30 pm to 8 pm onwards please afford our guests the normal Cartha courtesy’s and a warm welcome

At the conclusion of 2017/ 2018 season Cartha’s buoyant Female tourists and players successfully made their unique CQPRFC mark (both socially and by playing / winning games and tournaments) in Italy and far flung Islay. Now its the turn of the men’s teams in the USA

Good Luck to Cartha’s and Shawlands “Boston Tourists “
On Thursday coming our brave lads are flying from Edinburgh to Providence TF airport, with Norwegian Airlines. (
Departing Thursday 28th June, and arriving back on Sunday 8thJuly at 9am). ( 9pm Flight on Sat 7th Julyfrom Providence TF).
This years Cartha Queens Park RFC tour to Boston, Massachusetts USA, has over 40 tourists signed up paid and ready to go
They are scheduled to play in the Worcester 7’s tournament on Saturday 30th June – it’s a big 7’s tournament similar to the Cartha NCS 7’s, although it is larger with guys & girls sides playing.
They are also signed up for Mixed Touch Rugby at the new purpose build rugby stadium at Harvard (http://www.gocrimson.com/sports/wrugby/Facilities/Mignone_Field ), followed by gentle refreshments in/around the Harvard campus.
Then there is the Famous Boston 4th July Celebrations which start from Monday 2nd July to 6th July.
A great time will be had by all - flying the flag for Scotland , Glasgow and Cartha - enjoy your trip chaps
