Mike Bruce is a level 2 UKCC coach and has been with the women’s team since 2018/19 season, having coached in the girls section prior to that. Mike is currently the coach coordinator for Cartha QP and also serves on the committee. He says he does this as he is able to spend more time with his kids who always seem to be at Cartha too, and he has a very understanding wife (a living saint).

Mike is also the team manager for the Scottish Futures U18s team which allows him to work closely in a national high performance sporting environment and bring good practices back to the club at Glasgow.

Family is hugely important to Mike and he very much see Cartha as being part of that family and he feels very privileged to work with the athletes and staff in the women’s section.
