"I have always loved the game of rugby and enjoyed playing when I was younger. After having a few years without rugby, I decided three years ago to get back into the game. I took up coaching with Cartha originally helping out with the u15's and staying with them to u16's. During this time, I was offered the opportunity to go in to coaching at a senior level so left Cartha to coach the Bishopton women's team. My time at Bishopton allowed me to develop my skills and helped me to have confidence in my ability to coach successfully at senior level. I enjoyed my time spent at Bishopton and what it did for my confidence however, Cartha has always had a place in my heart, as the club where I started my coaching career so when the women's head coach role became available at Cartha, I jumped at the chance to return.

This year, I have been accepted on the level 3 coaching qualification which I am thoroughly enjoying. I am sure that this will only enhance my own coaching ability, allowing me to constantly get the best out of the team.

I am excited for the season ahead and can't wait to see just what this team can achieve."
