Andy White has returned to club after retiring from playing. Andy was a formidable player in his time & will fit in well to coaching.
Andy said:
I'm delighted to be joining this team and really looking forward to the challenge this season.
I first joined CQP in 2008/9 season after moving for work to Glasgow. I think I've represented all senior men's sides at the club at one time or another.
Alas, my age finally caught up with me and I decided to retire from competitive Rugby in 2014.
I'm an east coaster and grew up in North Berwick, first playing Rugby at high school then at NBRFC. I had a brief spell at local rivals Preston Lodge as an U18 player, then back to my home town club until I moved due to work near Livingston and joined Livingston RFC around 2004.
Outside of Rugby I'm married with 2 kids.....and a golden retriever. I like guitars: playing, repairing, modifying - and I play in a rock covers band."
We wish Andy all the best for the season ahead and look forward to seeing him transition in to coaching.
