Dan started his playing career with Cartha over 15 years ago playing for all senior teams. A very frustrated centre but his build & speed meant he was a 2nd row/Prop. His 15 years have included him coaching a number of the junior teams at Cartha and even winning the shield with the U18s. He coached for a brief spell in the 2nd XV before moving on to his current role with Shawlands.

Interesting fact - Due to Dan's heritage he could've played rugby for Hong Kong, China, Germany or England. But the best international honours he achieved was playing for a UK Army team a couple of times in Rugby & Cricket.
