Matthew joined the club last season as the 2nd XV coach where he lead the team to its highest ever finish in the National Reserve League. A very talented ambitious young coach, with many one liners up his sleeve: "Scenes on Toast" being a favourite amongst players.

Matthew previously coached at Stirling University where he also studied.

Matthew had this to say:
"I'm looking forward to being given the opportunity to coach defence in National 1 and going through my UKCC level 3 this season. I think I'll be able to use the experience that I gained in my degree to help develop players through the club to continue to develop a winning culture"

Matthew has fully immersed himself in the Cartha Way & we're looking forward to him making the step up to 1st XV coaching this season.
